Henrietta's Table

Henrietta's Table Review

This cheerful, country-style restaurant in The Charles Hotel was named after the owner's pet pig, Henrietta, whose picture (including one with President and Hillary Clinton) hangs by the entrance area, where a u-shaped bar offers a relaxing spot to enjoy a pre-prandial coffee or cocktail. Chef-owner Peter Davis's passion for working with small area farms, as well as harvesting veggies and honey from the restaurant's rooftop garden and hives, is evident in his fresh, honest, wholesome New England-style dishes, like red flannel hash; creamy Maine crab-corn chowder, and juicy pot roast with mashed potatoes. He even offers that old Yankee standby for dessert: Boston Cream Pie.
