As the name indicates, this Hotel Commonwealth restaurant specializes in seafood, beginning with oysters that come fresh from the restaurant's own oyster farm in nearby Duxbury Bay, as well as Maine, Prince Edward Island, and Puget Sound (Washington). Beyond raw options, look for panfried crab cakes, steamed little neck clams, chowders, bisques, and daily fish selections ranging from cornmeal-crusted skate wing and herb-crusted cod to grilled Maine salmon and New Bedford monkfish with Maine yellow eye beans and chorizo. Chicken and steak are there for those hankering for less surf and more turf. Sunday brunch features homemade pastries and a decadent lobster omelet.
