Fodor's Review

The beautiful people found this urban chic tavern in a hurry after it opened in 2009, if not just for its food, then for the scene and the other beautiful people that go with it. Diners sip from martini glasses while noshing on signatures like the Duck confit, goat cheese and dried cranberry flatbreads, or heartier fare like monkfish with sweet-potato hash. The minimalist downstairs is quieter than before thanks to a new ceiling and other acoustic improvements, though

the cozy upstairs gets less cozy on weekends when the fire-placed nook houses a DJ. A tasty brunch (try the lobster and sweet potato hash) is a decidedly quieter way to enjoy the place. Either way, make sure to belly up to the bar, as the groovy and creative cocktails—"Second Marriage," "Boston Mule"—are a signature.
