Seven years after he opened his small Back Bay sashimi bar inside the swanky Eliot Hotel, Ken Oringer has added several other acclaimed restaurants to his stable of properties, but Uni remains consistently superb. From tuna tataki with foie gras to sea urchin, the creations change daily depending on what's fresh. There are also a handful of options for the less adventurous, including Kobe beef teriyaki and halibut tacos. Regardless of your menu decisions, the strong shiso mojitos and a sleekly intimate space (with just 21 seats) make Uni a great date destination.
