Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro Review

This home away from home—or, rather, full-service version of home where you hardly have to lift a finger (unless it's to dial room service)—is within walking distance of the Public Garden, Back Bay, Government Center, and the river Esplanade. The intimate hotel on Charles Street, housed in two meticulously renovated 19th-century brick town houses, has minimalist-style rooms. Each is individually decorated with soft neutral colors and plush bed linens, and there's plenty of natural light thanks to large windows overlooking city streets. A petite rooftop deck for lounging and a popular street-side bistro opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Underground public parking is available beneath the nearby Boston Common.
