The two Ginzas (there's one in Chinatown) are both popular with sushi lovers, but this spot gains extra points for its broad selection of sake. Avant-sushi these days includes hot spices, fried morsels, boozy marinades, and presentations with such props as a martini glass. There are lots of good appetizers and hot dinners as well, including teriyaki, tempura, and nabemono (one-pot meals).

One of the better options for sushi in Brookline, maybe trailing Fugakyu by just a tad. Good service and OK dining room.
