One of Brookline's more unusual restaurants serves excellent Indian cuisine in the Hyderabadi style, which incorporates northern and southern flavors. Dishes are complex, rich, and layered with sweet and salty. Murg musalam, a roasted chicken in a fragrant brown sauce, is tender and juicy, and any of the tandoori dishes (meats cooked in a clay oven) are designed for beginners. The variety of specialty breads is impressive, and the sleek interior fills up nightly with locals looking for a change of pace from downtown's more casual Indian buffet. During the day, explore the menu via the daily lunch buffet.

    The best Indian food in Brookline, located in the Coolidge Corner area. The Hyderabad regional cuisine this place offer is unusual to the Boston area. Good eats, OK decor and service.
