It is, believe it or not, a seaside clam shack plunk in the middle of Boston, with a stunning view of the downtown skyscrapers. An outdoor lobster tent in summer, in winter it retreats indoors to a warmhearted version of a waterfront dive, with chestnuts roasting on a cozy woodstove. Look for the classic New England clambake—chowder, lobster, steamed clams, corn on the cob—or the spicier crab boil.

A paper-plate lobster "picnic" with a generous sized lobster and good chowder.
If you go expecting fine dining you may be disappointed, but I had a great time and a delicious lobster!
This is basically a tent on a pier with a beer drinking, lobster smashing crowd. Lighten up! Enjoy!

Really horrible place, basically a grubby clam shack wannabe. Lousy, who-cares service. Terrible, overpriced food. "View" is nothing to write home about, best if you're right up at the water's edge in nice weather. Very dirty, have gotten sick eating there. There are so many other better options -- don't bother.
