Harvard Square Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Want to be in Harvard Square and not pay the big bucks? For basic lodgings in a great location, you won't go wrong at this nondescript property that feels more dormitory than hotel. Just steps from the neighborhood's many restaurants, shops, and lively street corners, the hotel has simple but clean rooms, with refrigerators and Internet access. Bathrooms—always a sore point here—have been modernized, and guest rooms got new beds and flat-screen TVs. The desk clerks are particularly helpful, assisting with everything from sending faxes to securing dinner reservations. Pros: location can't be beat, some windows open for fresh air. Cons: baths are small; Wi-Fi, in-lobby computer use, and parking cost extra.

  • In-hotel: laundry service, Internet terminal, Wi-Fi hotspot, parking (paid).
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, DC, MC, V
