Fodor's Review

In a residential neighborhood between Boston University and Boston College, this motel is well priced and fairly quiet. Thanks to a recent renovation, guest rooms are spiffed up in a modern taupe palette with new bedding and the lobby has new carpeting and tiling. All rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, and flatscreen TVs; suites have kitchenettes. Book as early as possible, as this hotel is very popular with college parents. There's a Whole Foods supermarket just a

block away and the T is nearby, but the ride to downtown Boston and major attractions can take up to an hour.

Involve the Manager

Located in Brookline, a somewhat long "T" ride from downtown or BU. My 3-month advance reservations for a double non-smoking room were not honored, & took the manager's intervention the next day to correct the matter. Computers were "down" 2 of 3 days, fouling up matters more. Non-smoking room was clean, but odors were notable. Beds comfortable, fairly quiet. Nice neighborhood, close to "T" stop. Hard to find way in to the front entrance initially.

Boston's Best

Located in a beautiful area just far enough from the loud city area of Boston. We'll definately go back to this hotel!

Check into a room only to be asked to change rooms for a customer who requested that particular room! No apology or discount for our trouble! Room was cramped dark & only moderately clean. Crappy construction-was winter & windows leaked.
