In a residential neighborhood between Boston University and Boston College, this motel is well priced and fairly quiet. Thanks to a recent renovation, guest rooms are spiffed up in a modern taupe palette with new bedding and the lobby has new carpeting and tiling. All rooms have refrigerators, microwave ovens and flatscreen TVs; suites have kitchenettes. There's a Whole Foods supermarket just a block away. The T is nearby, but the ride to downtown Boston and major attractions can take up to an hour.
