If you're looking for sleek, comfortable, and business-like, you'll find it at this luxury hotel. The 1928 building, the first art deco building and first skyscraper in the city, sports stylish teal and taupe carpeting. The lobby's mahogany paneling and soft gold lighting complement the restored bronze elevators and original letterbox. Guest rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and crown moldings; some overlook the waterfront. (For extra space, ask for a room at the end of the hallway.) Comforting touches include terry robes, feather pillows, and nightly turndown service. Night owls can take advantage of the 24-hour health club and business center. Readers praise the efficient, professional staff. Pros: well-maintained, clean, and quiet; friendly, helpful staff. Cons: poor-quality breakfast buffet (try the nearby Bean Leaf Café, instead), expensive food in general (lots of options in the neighborhood, though), daily fee for Wi-Fi, hard to find.

Room was large and well appointed, but, we had a number of gnats staying with us! Staff tried it's best but never eliminated them! Buffet breakfast was very good although expensive.....ours was free as a Gold Member. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location is not ideal although very quiet.
