This tiny, subterranean space is brick lined and warm -- a cozy place to try dishes from all over India. The owners, longtime Cambridge residents, decided to open a restaurant that truly represented their homeland cuisine, hence the chat (warm vegetarian or chicken salads) dishes aren't filled with creamy yogurt, but marinated lightly with fresh ingredients, and all of the dishes are made to order. Lamb chops bhunna masala are a sweet, spicy trio of chops served on a crescent-shape plate. A small selection of Indian wines is also available.
