$$-$$$, Seafood, North End
Fodor's Review:
This tiny oyster bar, the first of its kind in the neighborhood, has only six tables, but the long marble bar has extra seating for a dozen more and mirrors hang over the bar with handwritten menus. From there, watch the oyster shuckers as they deftly undo handfuls of bivalves. The plateau di frutti di mare is a gleaming tower of oysters and other raw-bar items piled over ice that you can order from the slip of paper they pass out listing each day's crustacean options. And the lobster roll, hot or cold, overflows with meat. Service is prompt even when it gets busy (as it is most of the time). Go early to avoid a long wait.
