Sitting between the waterfront and what used to be the Central Artery, this is a hot spot to hit before the theater, after sightseeing, or for a simple lunch Downtown. The rustic, country-French menu is brilliantly priced so that all entrées cost the same. Dinner mates can choose between braised beef short ribs with rosemary-infused mashed potatoes or a hazelnut-crusted rack of lamb. Stop by the boulangerie (bread shop) to take home fresh, homemade loaves, which are some of the best in the city.

My husband and I only had a few minutes for lunch in the area, so we grabbed the daily special from the bread shop and a fruit cup. It was a very good value and tasted great. All ingredients were fresh; the fruit was perfectly sweet. The night before we left town, we stopped back to grab muffins for breakfast the next morning. Althought the selection was limited (it was pretty close to closing time) everything still tasted fresh and delicious!
