Fodor's Review

Originally the B. F. Keith Memorial Theatre in the days of vaudeville, this venue was designed in beaux arts style by Thomas Lamb and modeled after the Paris Opera House. The theater shut its doors in 1991, but a multimillion-dollar restoration completed in 2004 brought theater and dance performances back to the Opera House.

Boston Opera House Review

The Boston Opera House is a beautiful beaux arts building. The public area inside reminds me of Versaille Palace. The Boston Ballet now performs at the Opera House, as well as some visiting Broadway shows.
