1369 Coffeehouse

1369 Coffeehouse Review

Quirky characters rub elbows with book-writing professors and tweeting students at this Cambridge institution devoted to espresso and cold-brewed iced coffee (also delivered in growlers). Staffers pride themselves on intensive "barista jedi" training, though spiced apple cider is favored in the cool months. Serving pastries galore, daily quiches, cookies, sandwiches, and salads, this café and its Central Square location (757 Massachusetts Avenue) are packed until 10 most nights. 1369 Coffeehouse was voted Best Coffeehouse 2013 by Boston Magazine.
