What better place than the waterfront to build one of the snazziest branches of the local Legal Sea Foods chain? The classic and contemporary seafood preparations mirror those of the other locations, but this one's dining room is full of colorful tiles and sea-inspired sculpture.

Part of a large chain. Maybe not the best seafood spot locally, but still a good option. Food generally good (probably the best place to get the really thick kind of New England clam chowder), rather expensive, OK service. Probably the best location locally of this particular chain.

I had the best Lobster I have ever had. It was stuffed and wieght about 3lbs. Service was great. They also have the best wine prices in town or in any town I have ever seen. I loved it.

The restaurant was very nice, clean, great atmosphere. I had raw oysters for the first time!! They were great. Overall the food was pretty good - I was very disappointed in the clam chowder (go to Union Oyster House for this!) - it lacked flavor. My biggest disappointment though was in the preparation of the fish - a restaurant this big and well-known should get temperatures right the first time. We were served 2 pieces of Well-Done tuna. It was quickly replaced with a wonderfully cooked Medium Rare piece, but as I said, a place with such a reputation should not have made such an error.
