Doyle's Cafe

Doyle's Cafe Review

Truly an institution since 1892—and the first pub to put Sam Adams on tap—this friendly, crowded neighborhood Irish pub has become a Boston political landmark. Candidates for offices from Boston City Council to U.S. Senate drop by to eat corned beef and cabbage, sample from 30 tap brews or 60 single-malt scotches, and speechify and "press the flesh." There are non-Irish noshes, too: trout burgers and kale-linguica soup, among others.
