Fodor's Review:
Though a sign on the door says it's open by appointment only, a simple knock almost always gains you admission to this water rat's dream store -- but call ahead to be sure. The 6,000-square-foot space looks like the attic of a merchant seaman: in addition to finished 18th- and 19th-century ship models ($200 to $100,000-plus) and vintage pond yachts, you can find lanterns, navigational instruments, and marine charts, prints, and oils.
