Fodor's Review

"Groan-worthy" describes the earthy, market-fresh dishes you'll find at this cozy, brick-walled former butcher shop, which hasn't had a quiet night since it opened in the fall of 2012. Foodies, families, and folks from the neighborhood and beyond can't get enough of dream-team chefs David Punch and Lydia Reichert's culinary homage to New England: house-smoked bluefish pâté, smoky shrimp chowder with local scallops and clams, and last but not least, the whole animal/fish board for two (think duck with rosy breast meat, spiced sausage, and crostini heaped with succulent duck pastrami). Begin with a cocktail from the excellent bar and end with a satisfied smile—made even bigger because area parking is plentiful and mainly free.
