Fodor's Review

The French expression for the facial muscles that make you smile is Les zygomates and this combination wine bar–bistro inarguably lives up to its name making diners happy with quintessential French bistro fare, like the tiered, ice-packed house platter (plateau maison) filled with oysters, clams, shrimp, and snow crab claws from the tiny 5-seat oyster bar and the unctuous beef short-rib Bourguignon, simply made (with many local ingredients) and simply delicious. The dinner prix-fixe menu beautifully matches the ever-changing wine list, with all wines served by the 2-ounce taste, 6-ounce glass, or bottle. There is also live jazz five nights a week.
