Fodor's Review

Terrific sizzling entrées from Brazil's Minas Gerais region fill the menu, such as a fine mixed grill, and a couple of fish stews are borrowed from the neighboring province of Bahia. This little place, run by a friendly staff that speaks mostly Portuguese, also turns out a great version of the fried yucca appetizer called mandioca. The decor has been recently updated, with the outdated travel posters replaced by beach paintings that almost transport you to Brazil.

Live Brazilian music adds further ambience on weekends.

Pretty good Brazilian

Funky little Brazilian comfort food place, one of the few non-rodizio spots that's relatively easy to find. Certainly not bad for what it is. Please note that this place is in fact several blocks walk from the Harvard Street stop on the B branch of the Green Line in Allston, and utterly nowhere near Harvard Square in Cambridge. Best to take a bus here.
