Elizabeth's

Elizabeth's Review

You'd never guess this little white house just off Route 9 was a restaurant, let alone one serving some of the best Italian food in the state. But Elizabeth's, in spite of feeling like dinner at a friend's house, offers a playful menu of simple entrees made from high-quality ingredients. From the four-cheese lasagna with caramelized onion, to the classic pasta putenesca (olives, garlic, capers, hot pepper), all entrées are rich and served with bread and an impressive salad featuring a mixture of seasonal greens, vegetables, fruits, and cheeses. If everyone orders an entree you won't need an appetizer, but get the bagna coada (a hot dipping bath of anchovy, garlic, and olive oil) anyway and take some salad home. Cash only.
