Bistecca alla fiorentina (porterhouse steak grilled with olive oil, garlic, and rosemary) and ravioli basilico e pomodoro (with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil) are among the dishes that change seasonally at this northern Italian restaurant. The sleek café has track lighting and photographs of the owners' Italian ancestors. Weekend reservations are essential during the Tanglewood music festival.

We have eaten here at least monthly for the past nearly ten years, small parties and large. It remains our favorite of all. Everyone always loves their food, and if not, Jim (the owner) is gracious about dealing without unlike what the other reviewer said.
