The public rooms in this 1780 stagecoach inn are enormous, and each has a fireplace. Bedrooms are on the small side but have four-poster beds (some have claw-foot baths) and unpretentious furnishings. On weekends in July and August you can book only two-night packages, which include breakfast daily and one dinner during your stay.
