The Widow Bingham's Tavern

The Widow Bingham's Tavern Review

The Red Lion Inn's tavern simply oozes character, with wood-paneled walls and pine plank floors, not to mention the crazy collection of stuff—baskets, pottery, hockey sticks—hanging from the ceiling. These are cozy digs, so you won't want to share any secrets over your meal. The food defines pub-hearty, with chowders and soups aplenty (including a good, thick fish soup). The burger is kind of average; you'll do better with a hand-carved turkey sandwich stacked with stuffing and cranberry mayo, paired with a Barrington Brewers IPA.
