This little eatery with views of Laurel Lake through the full-wall windows is quite a find. After some complimentary papadam bread with chutney, try an appetizer sampler with samosas and either fried vegetables or yogurt-cooked chicken. Signature dishes include fish steamed in banana leaf, shrimp with curry leaves, tender chicken tikka masala (in a tomato-cream sauce), and lamb rogan josh (flavored with ginger, tomato, and onion). Everything looks as good as it smells. Vegan options are available, and there's a full bar. The weekend lunch buffet is a bargain.
