Berkshires Scenic Railway Museum

Fodor's Review:

In a restored 1903 railroad station in central Lenox, this museum displays antique rail equipment, vintage exhibits, and a large working model railway. It's the starting point for the diesel-hauled Berkshire Scenic Railway, a one-and-a-half-hour narrated round-trip train ride between Lenox and Stockbridge. There's also a 45-minute trip to Lee.

  • Cost: Museum free, Lenox-Stockbridge train $15, Lenox-Lee train $9
  • Open: May-Oct., Sat.-Sun. 10-4 (see Web site for current schedule).
