Berkshires Scenic Railway Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Berkshires Scenic Railway Museum, in a restored 1903 railroad station in central Lenox, displays antique rail equipment, vintage exhibits, and a large working model railway. It's the starting point for the diesel-hauled Berkshire Scenic Railway, a 1 1/2-hour narrated round-trip train ride between Lenox and Stockbridge.

  • Cost: Train $15, museum free
  • Open: May-Oct., weekends 10-4
