Fodor's Review:
Sushi and other Japanese fare have become increasingly popular in Great Barrington in recent years, helping solidify the town's reputation as the Berkshires' most sophisticated restaurant town. Shiro is a warmly lit, art-filled space that serves superb sushi but also such delicious hot entrées as lightly battered and fried wasabi shrimp over wilted spinach, and tempura tuna and crab in seaweed roll served with a spicy aioli and caviar. A full range of sakes is available.
