Western Gateway Heritage State Park

Fodor's Review:

This park occupies the old Boston & Maine railroad yard. The visitor center houses exhibits that trace the impact of train travel on the region. A 30-minute documentary provides a look at the intense labor that went into the construction of the nearby Hoosac Tunnel.
