Although the place can get noisy, this mainstay of Great Barrington's Railroad Street is popular for its Japanese fare. Enlivened by traditional pottery, the dining room has tables that wrap around three sides of a large central sushi bar. If you aren't ordering from the extensive sushi menu, try the harumaki (deep-fried lobster and fish in rice paper) or the una jyu (grilled river eel in a sweet sauce). Many of the dishes are also organic.
