Antiques decorate the parlor of this eccentric 1820s English Tudor–style mansion with a touch of the exotic, thanks to items gleaned from the innkeepers' world travels. The 4,000-volume library, formal parlor, music room (with a Steinway grand piano and Louis XVI original furniture), and gracious dining room all impress. Designer drapes and bedspreads adorn the guest rooms, three of which have working fireplaces. The carriage house is open May to October; one of its rooms is decorated in an African style and another in a Southwestern style. The inn is nestled amid 7 acres of gardens and woods across from Kennedy Park.
