Guest House at Field Farm

554 Sloan Rd., Williamstown, Massachusetts, 02167, USA

Built in 1948, this guesthouse contains a fine collection of art on loan from Williams College and the Whitney Museum. Guest rooms enjoy expansive views of the 315-acre property, which has miles of hiking trails. Three rooms have private decks, and two have working tile fireplaces. The East Room has the best view of Mt. Greylock; the Gallery Room has the best art. Both property and clientele are upscale and fancy, which is probably why children under 12 are not permitted.
