Ocean City

Although Ocean City is primarily a beach resort, there are ample outdoor activities beyond bathing and tanning—from fishing, powerboating, and sailing to kiteboarding, parasailing, and jet-skiing, as well as the more peaceful pursuits of kayaking and canoeing (ideal in the gentle Bay wetlands). On-land fun includes biking, tennis, volleyball, and (especially) golf. For many of the area's sports, classes are offered for first-timers.
