Savage River Inn Review

Way off the beaten path within the Savage River State Forest, this quaint B&B began as a farmhouse in 1934. Today the bed in breakfast portion is closed, but the owner welcomes visitors to the on-site Fox Den Log Cabin. It's well furnished with rustic but modern decor, and splendid views of mountain scenery. Outside, enjoy a landscaped garden, pool, and hot tub. Rooms are decorated with country furnishings, and two have sitting areas and fireplaces.
