The rooms of this grand antebellum house on Charles Street are filled with classical music and the chatter of diners (the Teak Room is the quietest, the Oak Room the noisiest). The northern Italian menu includes traditional piccatas and marinaras as well as updated versions of Italian classics, such as homemade cannelloni filled with duck confit, woodland mushrooms, and ricotta. Upstairs, the softly lighted Tusk Lounge is a comfortable, classy spot to meet for drinks.

During the last 12 months I have increasingly enjoyed 5 dinners. The overall dining experience justifies its ranking as a DiRONA Award Winner! Bravo
