Tremont Plaza Hotel

Pros

  • Renovated rooms
  • Kitchens in suites

Cons

  • A somewhat long walk from the Inner Harbor

Fodor's Review

This 37-story all-suites hotel, once an apartment building, is in the densest part of the business district. Its plain facade and minuscule brass-and-marble lobby belie the tasteful earth-tone guest rooms, which are a favorite of musicians and actors performing at local theaters. The suites come in six sizes. The best views of the city and the small park in the center of St. Paul Place are from rooms with numbers ending in 06. The restaurant, Tugs, has a nautical theme

and a menu rich in seafood.

Your Basic Dive

The Tremont Plaza is just that. There were pictures missing off the walls in our room and the bathtub was stained along with dried blood on the sheets. The hotel is about eight blocks from the Inner Harbor shops and restaurants. If your in Baltimore to see a game or to spend some time at the Inner Harbor, there are so many better options.
