Peabody Court Review

Built as a luxury apartment house in 1924, this 13-story hotel faces the Washington Monument. The hotel retains its original distinguished lobby and other period touches such as marble bathrooms. Rooms have desks and two-line speakerphones with data ports; a lobby business center has a fax machine, copier, and computer station. Rooms with park views are the best choice. A courtesy shuttle will ferry you to destinations within a 2-mi radius. The hotel bistro, George's on Mount Vernon Square, serves American and Italian cuisine.
