City Cafe

Fodor's Review:

The lofty space and black-and-white tile floors give this casual spot a feeling of classic grandeur. Come here for basic American fare—sandwiches, salads, pasta, big brunches—and stick to that: the more creative, ambitious attempts on the menu often fall short. But City Cafe handles breakfast, lunch, and dinner staples with ease—a feat of flexibility few Baltimore restaurants can match. The service could be sharper, but the seasonal items hit the spot. In summer the frozen cappuccino is a sweet, creamy treat.
