Fodor's Review:

A short walk east of the Inner Harbor, this museum is an unusual collection of artifacts displayed in an unusual location: the old Eastern Avenue Sewage Pumping Station, built in 1912. Here you can examine several generations of water pipes, including wood piping nearly 200 years old. Other exhibits tell the history of such city services as trash removal. Outdoors, a life-size model reveals what lies underneath Baltimore streets. Since the museum is still an operational sewage pumping station, it smells.
