In a large, late-19th-century building, once a private house, this intimate inn has rooms furnished in Victorian style and an outstanding restaurant. It's across the street from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and in walking distance of MICA, the University of Baltimore, and Amtrak's Penn Station. Breakfast is served in the parlor room. Pros: within walking distance of the opera and symphony. Cons: the four-story inn has no elevator.

Abacrombie used to be great, but now is horribly managed, very dirty, and in the hands of a terribly rude woman.
Roached line the closet, mold and water damage run through the carpets, and they do not change the linens from the previous guest. To be avoided at all costs!
