Planning Your Time

A trip through southern Maryland could be a leisurely three-day journey, including one day in quaint Annapolis, one day in bay-side towns like North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and one day in the southern part of the region, including Solomons Island and Historic St. Mary's. Depending on your interests—sailing and water sports, hiking or birding, sightseeing in historic homes, or simply sitting dockside and digging into the region's famous crab cakes—you could spend much more time there.
