It's rare to be able to enjoy elegant waterside dining and professional service at budget prices. The chef creates succulent northern Italian dishes using fresh herbs and spices. The cacciucco (seafood soup) alone is worth a special trip, as is the homemade lasagna. Italian music is played during meals. There are many excellent seafood restaurants in southern Maryland, but DiGiovanni's is one of the few to give the fruit of the Bay an ethnic spin.
