Artist's Bridge Review
The routes north from Bethel to the Rangeley district are all scenic, particularly in autumn when the maples are aflame with color. In the town of Newry, make a short detour to the Artist's Bridge (turn off Route 26 onto Sunday River Road and drive about 4 miles), the most painted and photographed of Maine's eight covered bridges.
