The Rangeley Inn

2443 Main St., Rangeley, Maine, 04970, USA

Painted eggshell blue, this historic downtown hotel was built around 1900 for wealthy urbanites on vacation. Set behind it on Haley Pond is a motel-style building. From the main inn's covered front porch you step into a grand lobby with polished pine wainscoting and a brick fireplace. A stone fireplace anchors the tavern-style restaurant. Many rooms in the main inn have brass beds, oak headboards, and other antiques; there are also several suites and oversize rooms with modern furnishings. Motel guest rooms have mini-refrigerators and decks with water views.
