Painted eggshell blue, this three-story hotel was built around 1900 for wealthy urbanites on vacation. Set behind it on Haley Pond is a motel-style building. The new owners have made many improvements, reopening the tavern-style restaurant and adding several suites. From the covered front porch you step into a grand lobby with polished pine wainscoting and a brick fireplace. No two rooms are alike in the main inn, where the many antiques include brass beds and oak headboards. The motel rooms have mini-refrigerators and water views; most have decks.
