Fodor's Review

Scattered under a canopy of trees along Sebago Lake, the classy pine-panel cottages at this 125-acre resort have fieldstone fireplaces and are furnished with colorful rugs and handmade quilts. A warm, woodsy feel pervades the main lodge; lake views from the porch and terrace are marvelous at sunset. Rates include canoes, kayaks, dories, and paddleboards; waterskiing and wakeboarding; sailboats, motorboats (gas fee), and cruises on the vintage Chris-Craft; and children's programs, exercise classes, tennis, and disc golf. Hit the trails or open-air gym, then head to the wood-fired sauna. Meals (included in the per-person rate) are served in the dining room, where guests dress up for dinner. In summer, you can lunch lakeside.
