Fodor's Review

In the Schoodic Peninsula section of Acadia National Park, this center offers lectures, workshops, and kid-friendly events about nature. It's worth a drive by just to see the Rockefeller Building, a massive 1935 French Eclectic and Renaissance-style structure with a stone and half-timber facade that housed naval offices and housing. In 2013, the building reopened as a visitor center after an extensive renovation.
