Housed in a three-level brick-and-glass building on the waterfront, the center has information about the region's natural wonders. You can use touch screens to search out places of interest. Exhibits tell the history of the Passamaquoddy Indians and early French settlement and how Mainers have made a living in the woods and from the sea. There's a touch tank filled with sea creatures, and a state visitor center is in the lobby.
