Fodor's Review:

The main portion of this Victorian home was built in 1865. On a bright morning or afternoon, you can relax in the two parlors or on the covered swing on the front lawn, overlooking a wide stretch of the Machias River. Rooms are furnished with antiques, and most have water views. Pros: Lower rate with three-night minimum, two $75 one-person rooms. Con: Smallish rooms.
