Fodor's Review:

Many visitors to Campobello Island don't venture beyond Roosevelt Campobello International Park, but for those who do, much awaits at the adjacent Herring Cove Provincial Park. There's a golf course and restaurant, 88 campsites (40 with electric hookups), playgrounds, and six trails, including a carriage road that traverses log bridges and spruce forests. Don't miss the mile-long black-sand beach at the namesake cove, with sea-smoothed stones in mesmerizing hues at low tide.
